AKRON, Ohio – FedEx Custom Critical, Inc., North
America’s largest time-specific, critical-shipment carrier, has
appointed John G. (Jack) Pickard president and CEO.
Pickard brings nearly 30 years of transportation experience to his new
role at FedEx Custom Critical. He joined the company in 1986, holding
positions in sales, marketing and operations, and has served as a vice
president since 1989. Pickard also serves on the FedEx Custom Critical
Board of Directors.
Throughout his tenure at FedEx Custom Critical, Pickard has been
responsible for the planning, development and implementation of
strategies that have enabled the company to grow rapidly. He is also
active in industry organizations, serving on the board of directors of
both the Truckload Carriers Association and the American Trucking
Associations.
