Frederick Hired as Director of Operations, FedEx Custom Critical
Former FedEx Freight Manager Returns to Ohio as New Director

AKRON, Ohio, Aug. 28, 2007 – FedEx Custom Critical, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), announced that Jason Frederick has been hired as the director of Operations.

Frederick will oversee all divisions of operations, managing a team of more than 300 employees.

"I look forward to experiencing the excellent environment and culture created by the FedEx Custom Critical team," Frederick said. "The key is to maintain our focus on providing solutions to customers with a one-stop-shop mentality to solve every possible shipping need."

A native of the Akron area, Frederick brings 15 years of experience in operations to FedEx Custom Critical, the past 10 with FedEx Freight. He is relocating from Atlanta, where he served as a FedEx Freight service center manager since 2002. Frederick worked as a FedEx Freight service center manager in Youngstown before relocating to Atlanta.

Prior to his tenure at FedEx Freight, Frederick worked in operations at American Freightways in Akron. Frederick spent four years at Roadway Express as an operations supervisor and sales representative prior to his position at American Freightways.
